Stopped by KFC for dinner since I was craving fried chicken... First time in a long while I've been there for food... I was not impressed.. not sure if its because they went with the trans fat free oil or what. Only bright spot was my lemonade :o)

Went down to the art festival on the Everett water front... they had these paint buckets with colored streamers around the docks.

Did my triathlon today... found these ducks in the water before the start of the race.. I swear its the same ducks from Martha Lake when I first started training for the swim... they just came out to root me on... I know it :o)

A smart car parked next to NEMO tonight... thought it was funny to see a car smaller to NEMO.. and a convertible at that!

Went to the waterfront in Everett and walked all the way to the end of the public pier. A beautiful sunset on the water.

Went to REI after work. They had some great deals on triathlon clothing, so I had to go! Got a tri top and matching bottom (Who doesn't want to look good when crossing the finish line?)

Played our first double header baseball games today. (Lost both games) If you play a bit of 'Find Waldo' you can see there's NEMO's twin in the parking lot. :o)

Went hiking (climbing really) with Ken up Mt. Pilchuck this morning. Was a bit rainy and wet, and you could only see about 6 feet out because of all of the fog up at the fire lookout, but coming down the fog started to clear up and you could see the trail was above the clouds. Very cool.

Learned that there is a different valve on skinny road tires for a bicycle today. The slim one is called a Presta and you need an adapter to pump those up. My mountain bike has the Schrader valve.

Went swimming in Silver Lake and made it all the way across and back! This is the pier I started from :o)

Finally put my plants that I bought into their proper pots. A mess, but all turned out well. (Besides the splinter I got)

Went to a movie premier in Seattle, the flag belongs to the bar 'changes' which was right next to the Guild.

Went to Season ticket holder appreciation night at Safeco field. Got some great autographs and caught two balls in the outfield!

Caught Lucy just chilling in an empty box when I came over to Helen's. Why is it that cat's like empty boxes?

While the bedroom ceiling paint was drying, I noticed the nice geometrical shadow that my IKEA lamp was casting on the wall/ceiling.
